The International Festival for Business 2014 has launched the IFB Business Club, through which members can enjoy free access to a wide range of fantastic facilities and high value services during the 50-day festival.
The festival nerve-centre, the IFB Hub, is located at Liverpool’s iconic and historic waterfront and is the place where the many benefits of IFB Business Club membership will be accessed.
DEEPWATERRESHAPING THE COURSEOF THE RIVER
Liverpool2 will see post-Panamax vessels - the biggest ever to take to the seas - call directly at the Port of Liverpool when it opens in 2015. The landmark development began to reshape the course of the River Mersey, for good.
It seems that everything is getting bigger, from cars, bags and even shipping containers. On the global waters the shift begins in a canal thousands of miles from the Mersey basin.
What to see when you’re in Liverpool? This is a city offering world class cultural venues, musical heritage and stunning architecture.
Liverpool has more museums and galleries than anywhere outside London. Delve into its cultural life at the Museum of Liverpool on the waterfront, or Tate Liverpool to explore the latest in contemporary art, the Maritime Museum, FACT or Open Eye. There are hidden galleries to discover as well, like the home and studio of photographer Chambré Hardman that acts as a time capsule to the 1950s.

The Peel Group, which is driving forward multi-billion pound regeneration plans for the Liverpool and Wirral waterfronts, is to be a major festival supporter of the International Festival for Business 2014.
The Group, which has development, port, logistics, media and energy interests in the North West, will become an official festival supporter for the two-month event being staged in Liverpool this summer.
