LATIN AMERICA will be the focus in the Hub for the opening week of IFB 2014. Organised in partnership with Canning House and the Latin American Trade & Investment Association (LATIA), the week will feature a programme of events designed to inform delegates of the exciting business and investment opportunities offered by the growing Latin American economies.

The Latin American Trade & Investment Association (LATIA – is an independent non-profit making organisation established in 2010 with membership comprising the Trade and Investment agencies and Embassy commercial offices from 19 Latin American Countries.

Canning House ( is a unique centre dedicated to stimulating understanding and engagement between Britain and the Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian world through dynamic debates, networking events, and education activities. 

The programme for the first full week of IFB 2014, which includes events such as the British Business Embassy, Africa Rising, International Trade Expo, Automotive Supply Chain Congress and the Undersea Defence Technology Conference, will attract delegates from around the world. Many of the delegates to these and other events will want to visit the IFB Hub at Mann Island to take advantage of the free business services available to registered IFB Business Club members.

The Forum will be a unique opportunity to learn more about key Brazilian offshore supply and subsea support opportunities from integrators and specifiers which have a pipeline of contracts and projects for delivery from 2015 onwards.
